JUNIOR FARMERS – October Pop Up Programs

Join Julie Anne for fall adventures on the farm!  Kids will be helping with farm chores as well as enjoying story time, taking home crafts and eating a healthy snack from our farm market.

Dress for the weather as the program runs rain or shine!

Who: Ages 2 to 5 year old

When:

Monday October 7th –  12:00am-1:30am – Age 2-5- Thanksgiving Theme

Friday October 25th – 9:30am-11:00am- Age 2-5- Halloween Theme

Monday October 28th 9:030am-11:00am- Age 2-5- Halloween Theme

Cost: $20 per child for the 1 session

SPACE IS LIMITED

Please bring a drink for your child, change of clothes, rain boots, hat, blanket and sunscreen. Program runs RAIN or SHINE!!

THIS PROGRAM IS FOR CHILDREN TO PARTICIPATE WITH THEIR PARENT/CAREGIVER ALONGSIDE THEM AT ALL TIMES.

Yoga on the Farm

We are looking forward to offering a WHOLE SUMMER of movement, connection, and breath with Yoga on the farm with Emily from Modern Day Yoga

When: Running every Thursday 9:00 am – 10:00 am for the whole summer ending on August 29th

60 minutes of YOU time – not only will these classes enhance your own personal connection to mind, body, and soul but being outside giving our bodies the chance to nourish surrounded by nature.

Where: Our classes take place on Willowtree Farm 975 Regional Road 21 – Port Perry – held just beyond a raspberry patch with nothing but beautiful fields and greenery for your visual satisfaction

Female Butchery Class

Wednesday, June 19th 6:00pm – 8:00pm – SOLD OUT!! Watch for more exciting workshops to come!

This is a great opportunity to learn a spectrum of butchering techniques using a variety of tools so you can build confidence and skills in the area of meat. In this exciting and unique workshop, you will learn how to:

Cut, trim, and bone out a chicken
Grind beef at home
Make the Perfect Burger
Trim, portion, tie, and cut your own roasts
Sharpen and maintain your knives

At the end of the workshop, you will take home 6 burgers, 1 chicken, and a 4lb roast to enjoy for months to come – $75 worth of meat!! This is a great opportunity to learn how you can butcher in your own kitchen!

$20 extra to take home a professional boning knife!
