JUNIOR FARMERS – JULY PROGRAM
Join Julie Anne for summer time adventures on the farm! We will explore the farm to see what is sprouting up, plant our own seeds and watch them grow over the four-week program. Kids will be helping with farm chores as well as enjoying story time, taking home crafts and eating a healthy snack from our farm market.
Dress for the weather as the program runs rain or shine!
Who: Ages 2 to 5 year old and 5-8 years old( Wednesday)
Session 1: Monday Morning Sessions – July 8, 15, 22, 29 – 10:00am-11:30am – Age 2-5 -FULL
Session 2: Monday Afternoon Sessions – July 8, 15, 22, 29 – 12:00pm-1:30pm -Age 2-5
Session 3: Wednesday Afternoon Sessions – July 3, 10, 17, 24 – 2:15pm-3:45pm- Age 5-8
Session 4: Friday Morning Sessions – July 5, 12, 19, 26 – 10:00am-11:30am- Age 2-5- FULL
Cost: $80 per child for the 4 week session
Fee includes: Children’s program plus a Junior Farmer T-Shirt (if your junior farmer already has the t-shirt the cost for the program is $65)
The kids will now have their own official Junior Farmer t-shirts to wear on the farm! Please indicate if your child is a children’s small, medium or large. You will pick up on the first day of the program. Price is included with registration.
SPACE IS LIMITED
Please bring a drink for your child, change of clothes, rain boots, hat, blanket and sunscreen. Program runs RAIN or SHINE!!

Female Butchery Class

This is a great opportunity to learn a spectrum of butchering techniques using a variety of tools so you can build confidence and skills in the area of meat. In this exciting and unique workshop, you will learn how to:
Cut, trim, and bone out a chicken
Grind beef at home
Make the Perfect Burger
Trim, portion, tie, and cut your own roasts
Sharpen and maintain your knives
At the end of the workshop, you will take home 6 burgers, 1 chicken, and a 4lb roast to enjoy for months to come – $75 worth of meat!! This is a great opportunity to learn how you can butcher in your own kitchen!
$20 extra to take home a professional boning knife!

Yoga on the Farm
We are looking forward to offering a WHOLE SUMMER of movement, connection, and breath with Yoga on the farm with Emily from Modern Day Yoga
When: Starting Thursday, June 6th – from 9:00 am – 10:00 am – running every Thursday for the whole summer ending on August 29th
60 minutes of YOU time – not only will these classes enhance your own personal connection to mind, body, and soul but being outside giving our bodies the chance to nourish surrounded by nature.
Where: Our classes take place on Willowtree Farm 975 Regional Road 21 – Port Perry – held just beyond a raspberry patch with nothing but beautiful fields and greenery for your visual satisfaction
