Baking Fundamentals 101

Wednesday May 29th 6:30-8:30 pm

In this course you will learn all the basic fundamentals for baking to truly become a confident baker. This course will teach basic baking terminology, function of ingredients, proper use of flours, essential equipment, and a variety of other basic baking topics. We will kick off the first of our baking workshops with beginner recipes such as biscuits, cookies and quick bread.

This course is ideal for beginners who have never picked up a rolling pin to baker who would like to improve their skills and baking repertoire, and ask the questions they have always wanted to know. Our pastry chefs will share all their knowledge and secrets to get you started. This course will allow you to gain confidence in the art of baking while creating some delicious take home treats.

The workshop will involve instructional demos, hands on activities, a light dinner and samples through the workshop.  All guests will take home samples and recipes from the night.

The cost is $90 (not including HST)
