Our mission is to share our family's passion for sustainable farming & fresh food. We live by a set of values in order to uphold our mission.
FRESHNESS
All of our farm fresh produce is hand-picked less than 24 hours before it’s in the hands of our customers.
We locally source a limited amount of other produce to supplement our own products. We’ve built long-standing relationships with these farmers whom we feel have demonstrated consistency and ethical growing practices over time. Similarly, the meat we source comes from farmers that maintain ethical practices with their animals.
HAPPY ANIMALS
Healthy animals taste better.
We love all of our animals and raise them humanely. Our animals are pasture-raised, without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics; raised naturally and fed non-GMO feed.
INNOVATION
We strive to be at the forefront of our industry.
We’re always trying new growing techniques, planting new varieties of fruits and vegetables, planting ethnic crops, and utilizing modern technology. We attend industry workshops and conferences, and listen to our customers in order to keep ahead of current food trends.
CONVENIENCE
We aim to be a “one-stop shop” for our customers.
We know everyone’s lives are busy. That’s why we offer a variety of options to get farm fresh food to our customers. We carry a diverse line of products and maintain our value of convenience in many ways:
- We travel to 12 different farmer’s markets throughout the GTA and beyond.
- We maintain a CSA program that serves over 300 families with delivery to your doorstep and various local pick-up locations.
- We have an on-site farm market at our home location in Port Perry, that is open 7 days a week.
ENVIRONMENT
We strive to maintain a small ecological footprint & produce the best.
Our family wants to keep our land strong and healthy for many generations to come. We participate in sustainable farming practices such as: soil and erosion protection, crop rotation, pest management, and limiting sprays to keep the soil as rich as possible.
EDUCATION
We believe everyone should know where their food comes from.
We are passionate about being actively involved in our community & educating people about farming and the food on their tables.
