What we Grow

At Willowtree Farm we pride ourselves on being good stewards of the land and producing superb produce and top quality meat for you and your family. We farm over 600 acres, 150 of which are hand picked fruit and vegetable crops. We also grow grain corn, soya beans, wheat, hay and other feed for our animals.

Specifically, we grow over 30 different fruits and vegetables throughout our growing season. We plant many of our crops every week and plant many different varieties to provide produce continuously throughout the season. We are always trying new growing techniques and new varieties to grow better quality produce, in a sustainable manner and for a longer season.

We don’t just grow. We research and innovate to bring the best possible produce out of our fields.

All of our produce is hand-picked when it is ripe in the fields. We pick daily to offer our customers the freshest and tastiest produce.

Speciality crops: Daikon Radish, Mouse melons, Kalettes, tomatillos, collared greens

We are always adding to this list by planting new crops from around the world.

Locally Sourced

What we can’t grow because of local climate and soil conditions, we locally source from other farmers we have known for years. We have developed long time business partnerships with these farms and know the farmer and the quality of their products.

Local sourced vegetables:  carrots, radishes, parsnips, mushrooms, celery, leeks, rutabaga, turnip and greenhouse produce out of our season.

Local sourced fruit: cherries, peaches, apricots, plums, wild blueberries, cultivated blueberries, pears, cranberries, grapes.
